Cake Decorating: 1st Communion Cake Decorating Instructions

You will need the following to decorate your own 1st Communion Cake:

1 1st Communion Cake Decorating Kit - buy it!

includes:
1 chalice , 1 dove , 1 rosary , 1 small Bible

Cake Decorating Tips:
Tip sdt-32 for piping the shell borders
Tip dct-352 for piping the rose leaves
Tip sdt-104 for piping the roses
Airbrush Colors:
You could simply use colored icing or draw onto the cake if you do not have an airbrush system.
Yellow for the surface background

Colored Icing:
White frosting to ice your entire cake and for the starburst, the roses and the top border
Green for the leaves
Yellow for the bottom border

Cake Decorating Instructions & Assembly:
  • Bake and ice your favorite cake.
  • Airbrush the cake surface in yellow.
  • Pipe the starburst above the host using white frosting.
  • Pipe the roses in white frosting.
  • Pipe the leaves with green icing.
  • Using white frosting for the top and yellow icing for the bottom, pipe the shell borders.
  • Place decorations on the cake.
