Cake Decorating: Bear in the Big Blue House Cake Decorating Instructions

You will need the following to decorate your own Bear in the Big Blue House Cake:

Decorations used:
1 Bear figurine , 1 Tutter figurine

Cake Decorating Tips:
Tip sdt-21 for piping the shell borders and the bushes
Tip sdt-104 for piping the shutters
Tip sdt-3 for piping the window outlines, to fill in the windows, the triangles on the shutters and the writing
Tip sdt-6 for piping To outline the house, the door knob, the sun and its rays
Airbrush Colors:
You could simply use colored icing or draw onto the cake if you do not have an airbrush system.
Green for the grass
Blue for the sky, the door and the house

Colored Icing:
White frosting to ice your entire cake and for the shutters
Green for the bushes
Yellow for the writing, the light in the windows, the door knob and the sun
Orange for the sun's rays and the writing
Blue for the borders and to outline the house, the door, the windows and the triangles on the shutters

Cake Decorating Instructions & Assembly:
  • Bake and ice your favorite cake.
  • Pipe the outline of the house and the door in blue icing.
  • Airbrush the sky and the door in blue.
  • Airbrush the house in blue using somewhat more color than for the door.
  • Airbrush the grass in green .
  • Pipe the windows in blue icing and the shutters with white frosting.
  • Pipe the light inside the windows using yellow icing.
  • Pipe the triangles on the shutters using blue.
  • Pipe the bushes in green.
  • Pipe the writing in yellow icing.
  • Pipe the sun and the sun's rays with yellow icing.
  • Pipe the borders in blue icing.
  • Place decorations on the cake.
