Cake Decorating: Open Season Cake Decorating Instructions

You will need the following to decorate your own Open Season Cake:

1 Open Season Cake Decorating Kit - buy it!

includes:
1 Open Season figurine - Boog, Elliot, Reilly and Porcupine race down the river rapids. , 4 Trees

Cake Decorating Tips:
Tip sdt-3 for piping for the bottom grass border, grass and flowers
Tip sdt-4 for piping for the paw prints
Airbrush Colors:
You could simply use colored icing or draw onto the cake if you do not have an airbrush system.
Green for the grassy areas
Blue for the stream

Colored Icing:
White frosting to ice your entire cake, for the flowers and the water
Green for the grass
Brown for the paw prints
Yellow for the flowers
Pink for the flowers

Cake Decorating Instructions & Assembly:
  • Bake and ice your favorite cake.
  • Using blue airbrush part of the cake surface to form a stream
  • With green airbrush the grassy areas on either side of the stream.
  • With a spatula add some white frosting to make the water look like river rapids.
  • Pipe the grass and the grassy bottom border using green icing.
  • Pipe the paw prints with brown icing.
  • Pipe a few flowers with white frosting, pink and yellow icing.
  • Place the decorations on top of the cake.
