Modelling a Chick and a Duck - step-by-step 1

Start by rolling a large piece of yellow sugarpaste into a ball.....

Give one side a gentle pinch to make the chick/duck's tail....

Roll a smaller ball of yellow sugarpaste for the head.....fixing in place with a little water

Make a small ball of orange paste.....

Give the orange sugarpaste ball a gentle squeeze...

Using a little water stick the orange bill onto the head to make it a duck....   Next: to make it a chick and creating the eyes
