Interesting ! Thanksgiving Factoid
After having Thanksgiving days in 1621 and 1623, there was not another one until June of 1676. It took nearly 200 more years before Thanksgiving became a national holiday in the U.S. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln decreed that the last Thursday in November would henceforth become a national day of Thanksgiving. Still, it was not until 1941 that Thanksgiving was made a legal holiday by Congress.
