Chocolate Wedding Cake
How to decorate a chocolate wedding cake!
step-by-step cake decorating instructions

Get ready - Step 1 - Step 2 - Step 3 - final cake

Finishing the cake!

Add two more chocolate hearts to the 6" cake and fix the piped chocolate top design to the top with a blob of melted chocolate.....hold for a short while until the chocolate goes solid enough to keep the structure upright.

Cut some chocolate cigars (chocolate curls) in half, to approximately 2/3 of the height of the 6" cake.
Attach them at the bottom edge of the 6" cake using melted chocolate, leaving a gap where the hearts are.

Fix another of your piped chocolate designs to the top of the 10" cake to finish.

If you are going to transport this cake leave the piped chocolate designs on the paper you piped them on and only fix to the cake when it is all set up on location.

Always make spares......

As an alternative to the gold ornamental cake support you could use three or four tall gold cake pillars.

Large white/cream flowers could be used in place of the piped designs.
