Cutting Guide for Servings and Cake Portion

Cutting Guide for Double Layer Cakes

Round cakes are cut in circles from outer edge of cake.
Move in 2 inch and cut a circle. Cut 1 inch slices from that circle.
Continue until cake is completely cut.

The core of the cake is served as 1 slice on 6 inch, 10 inch, 14 inch layers.
The core of the cake is cut into 8 pieces on 8 inch, 12 inch, 16 inch layers.

Wedding Servings

The size servings are based on double layer 1 inch x 2 inch slices.
The top layer is normally saved for the bride, but our design cards do
include the amount of servings with and without the top layer.
