Title: Baked Rice

      Yield: 1 Recipe
 
      1 T  Butter
      1 c  White rice
      2 c  Chicken or vegetable broth
           -or water
           Salt and pepper to taste
 
  1.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2. In a medium saucepan over
  medium-high heat, melt butter and add rice. Stir to coat rice with
  butter. Add broth or water, salt, pepper and bring to a boil. 3. As
  soon as mixture boils, cover pan and place in oven.  Bake for about
  30 minutes, until rice absorbs liquid.
  
  Note:  To make brown rice, increase cooking time to about 1 hr.
