Blond Brownies
Yield 2 1/2 dozen. 
 
2/3 cup melted margarine 
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 
2 eggs 
1 tsp. vanilla extract 
2 cups all-purpose flour 
1 tsp. baking powder 
1/2 tsp. soda 
1/2 tsp. salt 
1/2 cup chopped pecans 
1 (5 3/4 oz.) package milk chocolate morsels 
Combine margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking
powder, soda and salt; add to sugar mixture, blending well. Stir in nuts. 
Spread mixture in a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate morsels.
Bake 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares to serve.
