1 lbs butter 
1 cup sugar 
6 egg yolks 
1 T vanilla 
5 cups flour 
 
I also add the grind of 2 lemons to the recipes, but that is my preference. 
1 additional egg for eggwash 
 
Make dough using creaming method and chill. Roll out 1/4" thick and cut in
shapes desired. Egg wash and bake at 325 for 24 minutes (may vary)
