Cake Decorating: Sesame Street Music Cake Decorating Instructions

You will need the following to decorate your own Sesame Street Music Cake:

Decorations used:
1 Big Bird figurine , 1 Cookie Monster figurine , 1 Elmo figurine , 1 lamp post

Cake Decorating Tips:
Tip sdt-3 for piping the writing, the floor and the musical notes
Tip sdt-21 for piping the curtains and the shell borders
Airbrush Colors:
You could simply use colored icing or draw onto the cake if you do not have an airbrush system.
Brown for the stage floor

Colored Icing:
White frosting to ice your entire cake and for the top border
Red for the musical notes, the writing and the curtains
Blue for the musical notes and the bottom border
Brown to outline the stage floor
Green for the musical notes

Cake Decorating Instructions & Assembly:
  • Bake and ice your favorite cake.
  • Airbrush the stage floor using brown.
  • Pipe the curtains using red icing.
  • Pipe the outlines on the stage floor using brown icing.
  • Pipe the writing using red icing
  • Pipe the musical notes on the cake surface and around the sides of the cake alternating red, blue and green icing.
  • Around the curtains pipe the top border in red icing.
  • Pipe the other part of the top border with white frosting.
  • Pipe the bottom border with blue icing.
  • Place the figurines and the lamp post on the cake.
