get ready - getting started - the body - the head - hands & cloth - cloth details - burst from the cake - star decorations - final assembly of your 4th of July cake

Make two hands.....
create a ball of paste, flatten it out slightly.... pinch a thumb and cut three times to make the four fingers.....
twiddle them a little to smooth the edges......

Here you can see I have trimmed the skewers enough to add the hands and the hat.....
nothing is stuck yet this is just to see if everything is ok so far....

Mix up some blue sugarpaste......

Roll out the blue sugarpaste and cut the cloth to fit the body.....
wet the paste and stick it.....

Wrap up the arms in the blue paste also.....

stick the arms to the body......
