Pulling roses

Hold a small amount of sugar between your thumb and forefinger and
pull to create a thin layered edge of sugar.

Using your thumb and forefinger, pull this edge and detach it, either
by pulling away or cutting it with scissors, to form the center rose
petal.

Roll it into the form of a cone. This will be the center of the rose.
Repeat the pulling of the sugar to create more petals.

 |
Attach the petals around the cone to form the rose.
|
